Abstract

In this project, we intend to perform an analysis of the open cluster IC2391 and its stellar members. Directing special attention to the process of determining the members of the cluster, an important process for the calculation of dynamical and statistical parameters for the cluster and its correlations with the estimated fractal dimension of the clouds source. Such properties can result in conclusions about important initial conditions of formation of the cluster and about how the method used for the determination of the stars influences in later studies. Such studies provide valuable information about the birth and life of stars in open clusters as well as providing us with information about the influence of the Galaxy on the cluster.
